Here we go again

Every two years, our house gets invaded. By extremely focused, hard working athletic people who live their lives in pursuit of their goals and dreams. Which, by the way, is a good way to live, don't you think?

The Olympics is about to start.

Every four years, I have a renewed interest in figure skating, mogul skiing, ski jumping (they are crazy), the luge (they are more crazy), curling, the biathalon(?!?!?!?) and of course hockey. It seems like I can NOT turn that TV off if there is any kind of competition going on. I must watch. So, good bye housework - cleaning, vaccuming, cooking -- I need to see how many medals Canada can win!

I will, though, try to keep my kids and husband fed. It's the least I can do.
